Director: Marice Cumber 

Marice set up Accumul8 in 2013 to bring together and use local creative skills to help young people living at a local hostel develop their confidence, sense of self-worth and well-being and increase their potential for employment.

Marice’s background has always been in the creative industries, enterprise and education. She has set up and delivered creative business courses in prisons, business support programmes for creative students and graduates and is the founder of UK government best practice projects, Own-it, intellectual property advice service, and The Enterprise Centre for the Creative Arts. Marice now works at Ravensbourne developing apprenticeship training courses for the creative industries and digital training courses for youth offenders.

Marice is a founder of the Crouch End Arts Festival and in  2015 was awarded the Point of Light award for Accumul8 by the UK Prime Minister for her work in the community. She was also awarded “Social Entrepreneur Leader of the Year” at the Leadership Awards and has been featured by Hearst Magazines as an Inspirational Woman
